starsick is the title given to a collection of works made over a 12-month studio research residency period at the British School at Rome. This body of work draws on the history of divination, architecture, and religious iconography as they converge on the central motif of the star.

The resulting works were made and shown in across the year in multiple open studios, at the critique program at CASTRO, and culminated in an exhibition—Cloistered—at the British School at Rome in May 2025.

This residency and fellowship at the British School at Rome were generously supported by the Anne & Gordon Samstag International Visual Arts Scholarship.
